It appears that I have no posted a blog in over a year!! Almost a year and a half!! I would be lying if I said that nothing has happened over the last year+, but I would also be lying if I said that a bunch has happened. More or less, I have mostly been on cruise control for life. I still am not formally employed, and doubt I ever will be again... I work for myself, and that's pretty kick-ass, so I think I will leave it that way. I just returned from a trip to Japan, as well as a trip to Seattle to see a Jpop group that I enjoy Berryz工房. Instead of trying to catch up on a year, I am just going to go from this point forward. See you soon!

Ok so I had like what... 5 or 6 blogs this year??? well.. it happens and will probably continue to happen. But in the Next year I am hoping to improve some things in my life. Of course we all think/plan/hope that will happen. But a lot of things have to be done by ones self. So lets see how it goes. The end of this year I have added some new family members however, they will surely play a part in the next year. They still don't have names yet.... hopefully soon. But I introduce the pigs!

The other week I attended Anime Expo in Los Angeles. It was AMAZING! My first trip to LA was great. I got to see Morning Musume (モーニング娘。) perform for the first time on US soil (excluding Hawaii). The Expo was great, Morning Musume was great. I also met some friends from a Jpop/Kpop/Morning Musume/Ishikawa Rika forum being http://Jphip.com who were also great! The set of Anime Expo is growing daily. I have well over 1500 photos left to be processed from it, and will put my favorites on flickr and the rest (with favorites) on http://ichiban-kawaii.com when they are complete. So keep an eye out for that. In the mean time thanks to everyone for supporting all I do!!!!

It has now been 1 week since I started going Veggie, and there has not been really any problems. I have so far only been tempted once! That was at a Square Dancing party that was held by the friend of a friend, that my friend had made online. Did you catch that? I hope so. But either way it more solidifies my belief that the internet is great! Oh but I got off track there... The meat temptation came when at the party there were lots of yummy snacks. Some meat discs as an example. But the main thing that got me was the pulled pork that was brimming in the crock pot in the kitchen. It smelled so delicious. But I overcame it! I did however eat a whole bowl of mini carrots!

So begins another week.. and I think I am gonna go grab a salad... go figure!

Yesterday I went to the store and purchased somethings I have never purchased in my life! I will not mention these things, for possible embarrassment. ;p I purchased a few items that were "fake meat" and will try them soon. One item however I bought was the Morningstar Farms® Spicy Black Bean Veggie Burgers. I had these the other night, and they were quite delicious. I really don't think it was the incredible hunger I had after returning home from the bar that made it so tasty. I think there might be a possibly genuine taste in there. I will have one very soon and report back. If anything first signs of Veggie Burgers lead to positive, and that is exactly what I needed. A jump start to my month of Vegetarianism!

The Madness that is My March

Yet another blog and decision I think that is based on fuzzy logic. This time I can only blame the alcoholism and not sickness (I think). But to the point I go...

During the month of March I am going to be a veggie. A vegetarian is what I am going to be. I think the main reason is that I am trying so many new things lately, the only way I am going to 'really' try some new things is to do this. Partly to learn about some new and possible healthy alternatives. Even some things that could be delicious. I just have to not have the choice of tasty animals.

I had talked to one of my friends and she discussed about being a bad vegetarian. I mean you can be a vegetarian, but eat nothing but pasta/pizza/and mozzarella sticks/ect. Which are all delicious, but if you only eat that, its not going to work.

Just trying my hand at a little bit of better living. I don't foresee being able to be a Veggie forever, somethings are just too good.

Any help with hints/tips/recipes would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the most non-epic 100th Blog post evar!

I just wanted to give a quick update of things.

So far this year my severance from my job has run out, I have collected my first unemployment check. I have traveled to Las Vegas and New Orleans (Mardi Gras). I have continually met awesome people and done incredible things! Some of the people I have met along the way have surprised me, both good and bad. Some just blowing my mind.

I have taken more pics this year so far, then some people will take in their entire lives. I am having a wonderful time taking all these photos, and continually learning how to take better and more creative pictures.

Web 2.0 has been stale, but not at the same time. Lately I am adding people that live near me, and not across the USA or the world. This is both good, but also bad as well. I am building relationships at home, which is a little better on my wallet (maybe). But this doesn't allow me so much to spread out my wings.

Big things are in store for this year.
New Chapters are beginning.
Lets see what happens!!

So somewhere between alcohol infused ideas, and the onset of sickness, I made a decision to take off a works week worth of my much used internet sites. Those sites were Flickr, twitter, MySpace, and facebook. I am not really sure what insanity drove me to this place, but it did... I do not know if it was for selfish reasons, or reasons that were not even made by myself. But I did it, I survived, and so did the rest of the world. Yes, I do know that the world does revolve around me, but it too can survive a week with out me constantly checking up on it.

What have I learned? Nothing... What was accomplished? Nothing...

I guess I did write a review or two on yelp. But I am not sure what good that does :)

Back to the cyberworld I am sprung, I now too, can continue with life.

Anyways to the point of this post, is the affliction that is Windows Mobile and Imap email setup via Gmail.

When trying to add a gmail account to a Windows Mobile device, upon entering that it is a gmail address, the windows device will automatically set up most of the connections for you. Which is a major pain if you want to use the imap feature of gmail. But who doesn't? Basically you will have to trick the Windows device into not automatically configuring the settings for the email. Other then rambling on about it.. I will just off the link, because we all know that google rules the world.

In the recent election, a proposal was offered up to continue the ban of Sales/Purchases of Liquor in West Michigan. A vote for No would allow local area business and stores to be able to sell Alcohol once again on Sundays after way to many years of "prohibition" if you will. The vote for "No" passed by over twice as many to the those opposed to "Joe the Plumber" having a beer on Sunday watching the football game.

Once again, I was at the Devil Dolls show! (I love these gals) Doing a little photo shooting. This is just a taste of what the show is about... if you catch my drift! It was another spark in the face kinda night! Nothing beats some good grinder spark action shooting out of a devilishly beautiful woman's unmentionable's hitting you right in the face!

These dolls pack one hell of a punch in their show! Flame eating (as seen in the photo), playing in a boxes of broken glass, swinging high atop the crowd on rings are just the tip of the iceberg. On any given night, the dolls are selling out shows and wowing audiences with the flair that any Large city would bring. I have said it time and time again, you MUST see this show, the dolls are just as hot as the fire they play with... just be careful not to get too close, you might get burnt!

I didn't bring my camera with me since I was a zombie. So I have to relay on others photos for the zombie story. I know there will be many I will never see, and it is to be expected. I hope I fulfilled my duties as a Zombie and scared the crap out of people.

I know I did which is very funny to me, to be afraid of a zombie, when you are already one yourself.

So I locked myself out of my truck, right after I got to the Zomb game. I was planning as going as a zombie to start, but everything I had was in the truck... So basically that left me as a weaponless zombie.. I did however last about 15 minutes.. and was pretty tired after running around for that entire 15 minutes!!! So I guess I know my chances if there is ever a zombie outbreak and I have no weapon. It was a quick tag, so I might have lasted longer if someone shot them. I however found myself at the back of the pack, which was a bad idea.. but for now... I have a taste for brains.... ..

This past Saturday I attended a burlesque show. The "Super Happy Funtime Burlesque Show" , and it was a total blast!!! link here.
The show is put on by a "local" group and it has that big town flavor to it! From the onset you could tell that it was going to be a most entertaining show. Mr. Happy pants greeted the patrons and warmed us all up with some joking and the promise of a great time. Which he indeed did deliver.

Skits intermingled with great band music and sexy stripteases, this show was top notch. As smooth as the show was, it was not without quirks, which made the entire atmosphere very relaxed and fun. It was a most excellent show and I DO plan to attend shows in the future. This was the Halloween show and it delivered everything you would want for it. Tricks, treats, and that little something extra from all the beautiful ladies(and gentlemen..of course). Which even included a little bit of the sexy side from Sarah Palin!!

I totally recommend checking out the show, you will not regret it one bit.

#iKnow and My lack of Japanese

So...

I have been "studying" Japanese for years...

It is more like not studying...

Ever since I first heard Ayumi Hamasaki's music, I feel in love with Japan. However though her song titles had for the most part English titles. So I didn't have to study, at all. Even after that Listening to BoA, or Utada Hikaru, they had plenty of English titles as well, so I didn't have to learn much. Also there are plenty of sites that provide lyrics in romaji, so learning to read Japanese was not needed. Then after spending some time on "the scene" and hearing and reading about Morning Musume, I finally tried them out. Much to my chagrin ALL of their song titles were in Japanese!

So that began a never ending journey!

The never ending journey to be the Mega Gaijin! basically I don't foresee myself ever learning enough Japanese to make it through any type of real conversation. I only think I will learn enough Japanese to be a novelty.

I have always kept the flow of Japanese information into my head constant. Most through music, and occasionally through movies, and videos.

I was lucky to pass JLPT level 4, by some miracle of modern science, but that was 2 years ago.

I have applied for the JLPT level 3 this year, and am pretty nervous. However, since finding #iKnow, I think I will be doing a lot better then I had first expected. It is actually the reason I felt confident enough to apply for the test.

So my journey is renewed by the advent of #iKnow. I hope I can keep focused and study my hardest, and really know and understand and keep it all locked up tight in my brain. But not locked away, and forgotten.

So good luck to all those on the site, and to those learning Japanese, and most of all the fellow test takers!

December is going to come all too soon!

September Lifestream has begun!!

This is now my second month for Lifestreaming. Last month was done in 2008 also in September. Kicked it off tonight with a slow start for about an hour and then it picked up some. Upon redeeming my free sample a small questionnaire was proposed to me to find out what type of Harajuku Girl (原宿ガール）I was. After completing a battery of questions the type of Gal I was was revealed. For the last 2 weeks I have been working a split shift. My 1st shift co-worker has been off so I am covering for her. I am only going in at 10am, but that means I have to wake up at 8am. I am used to 2nd shift hours where I would go in at 2pm. Normally that would mean I would wake up anywhere from the hours of 10am to noon. It doesn't sound like much, but just imagine having to get up 2 to 4 hours earlier then you normally do. I guess it is just a bit of complaining, but it is early right now, and it is almost over... Soon I can breath a sigh of relief, I will return to work for 2 days of regular hours and then get up even earlier the next day (Wednesday) and hop a plane to Las Vegas! Baby! The New Media Expo is right around the corner and I am so ready to go! I cannot even begin to list what will be going on while I am there, but I will be sure to share with you all, as it happens, and I am sure after as well.

But anyways... work has come too early and I must run out the door, to make it on time..

Sleepy announcer voice for my MeToday.. Should be sleeping, but I can't stave off the Vampire forever. I have been working an early shift at work. 10-6 instead of my normal 2-10. It is ok for the most part but the getting up early in the morning is still pretty much sucking. I guess by the time I get used to it, I will be back on my normal schedule. Also I will return to normality followed by my trip to Vegas,.. New media expo is going to be a blast, and all the extras that Vegas is going to bring.. If you see a BigFreaky, give him a hug, it will make him smile.

I do wonder back when Jody Gnant was saying that her blog was being hacked on blogger/blog spot, that if it was really hacked or just the spam email that made its way through to her site by way of email. Which happens to be how I am composing this blog as you read. I had something that was not too terribly unique, and I think that is why I have been ghost posted in the last two days. The posts were obvious spam. The kind that some how is trying to get you to buy drugs from overseas, but never seems to be an actual link or anything to buy them.... But that's not what is important. Its the fact that these dumb spam bots are ruining the internet. As tough as gmail should be, spam still makes it through sometimes. Now they just continue the relentless attack on every possible word and number combination on the planet. Those same emails sometimes find their way into blogs (such as mine) or other Web2.0 sites. One thing that is a bit disturbing that some may contain links that will bring you back to their site and install software to make your computer a zombie, and this can happen to your unsuspecting friends. Once you are zombified you will just continue to help pump out the spam mail and infect more people. Unfortunately I don't have any real answers, but only suggestions. Do your best to never click links inside an email, (EVEN if it is from someone you know), also try your best to not click on anything that may seem fishy on someones Twitter. Some spam is easier to spot then others, but the most important thing is to always be on guard and keep aware on what you are about to click. This may seem like a lesson about the net from the 90's but it will always hold true. If it didn't then i wouldn't be posting this blog now...

P.S. even if you think you are an awesome internet user, you should run a firewall, and a Anti-Virus/Anti-Trojan program. If you need a free one, I suggest AVG. You can find it here.

Also... as you see I have posted links, you never know if this was really me or not... just keep on your toes. When in doubt, you can see a website name, and just Google it. You should be pretty safe that way...

Here I am just sitting at my computer on a Saturday morning. Actually its still Friday night, cuz I have not gone to sleep. I got a new lens in the mail today from eBay. It cost .99 cents, but had 9 dollar shipping. But still a 10 dollar lens is awesome! I really want to go shooting with it, but it is night time... and that doesn't work out so well all the time. I think it might rain today, when I am ready to go out. But that might not stop me. I am so geeked to use my lens, I might have to hide under trees to get some shots. The photo bug has bitten me seriously since purchasing my new camera (which is good) but I am not coming away with many photos I like. I hope I am not becoming a photo snob. As someone so eloquently put it. I want to take photos that I and other people will both like. I know I am not going to get shots that have never been done before, but I want to get shots that might not have been seen so often. I am going to Vegas and then NYC in the next month, and I really hope my skills and luck will be up for both of those adventures, because I really want to bring back some good shots to share with everyone. This is one of the first photos to come out of my new Nikon D60. Of course I tinkered a bit, but I love how the setting sun being not very evident can still show off the purples and reds in the sky. I think the beach and pier in Grand Haven, Michigan, (Hometown) is one of the best places on the planet to see the sun set. So grab a pronto pup and take a stroll down the boardwalk to see a sunset you will never forget.

1 month and 17 lbs

So... This last month at work there was a slim down competition. Teams of 5 people would get together and challenge other teams of 5. The competition would consist of points earned for doing exercise. (cardio and strength training)1 full point for an hour of cardio and an additional 1 point for a half hour of strength training. As well as a half point for 30 mins of cardio and 15 mins of strength training. Well how it works out is that no one added me to their team so I decided to do the competition by myself. My goal was to get every point possible. The total points possible in 29 days was 66 points. 2 points daily for exercise and 2 points MAX for 2 pounds lost a week (1 point per pound). They only allowed 2 points for 2 pounds because they stated that losing more then 2 a week is dangerous. Well anyways I set my own personal goal of 12 pounds. By some stroke of luck I managed to reach that goal in 3 weeks of the competition start. Also by some miraculous fashion I reached a total weight loss of 17 pounds by the end of week 4. I did not starve myself, I did not crash diet, and I did not only eat salad. Actually I ate no salad :) I had started changing the way I ate last year, and just continued to follow those guidelines all along. I did try to be a little more mindful of what I ate however. Skipped a few snacks, but never went hungry! But the exercise is where all the magic happened. I do know that an hour and a half daily of exercise is not really sustainable, so that cannot continue to be part of the equation. But I do know that exercise is the key to it all. You can starve yourself or eat a bunch of stuff you will not continue to eat, but that of course will never stick. Is much as I have heard "it is a lifestyle change", in fact the truth it is that, a life style change. I will not get onto a soapbox or rant for lines and lines. (I have defiantly not lived the way I should for long)But the most I can ask is that you try your best, be mindful of what you eat and what you do. Every little bit does help.

On the days of weigh in I would get McDonalds to eat. Just yesterday I also purchased a McFlurry to top off the end of the competition. That McFlurry contained 540 calories. That coupled with meal I purchased, probably contained every calorie I needed for that day, plus a few days worth of fat.

Be wary of Fast Food although delicious it is very full of calories and fat. One thing I will not say is that you cannot have it anymore. That is just crazy talk. The more you tell yourself you can't have it, the more you will want it. If you want some Burgers or something, go for it. Just don't go for it everyday. The same will go for whatever you crave, be it ice cream, candy and what not. During my month I did eat a candy bar or two, and did have some ice creme as well. As well as one night of drinks and pizza rolls :0 !

It is just one of those things where you have to "know it, to understand it" It is my longest video to date...but I think the length is not what makes a video. Bloggin' Debacle

So many times I am there, sitting there thinking to myself. "Hey I think that would be an interesting blog". Then I sit down and try to formulate it into my head. Well at that point, I realize I just don't have the passion to type about that topic anymore, or can't think of a way to put it into something interesting. So away the blog goes, into the void of nothingness. I begin to think to myself on how I just saved those 6 people that read the blog (including myself) that I just saved them a few minutes of their life.(Depending on how fast they read.) As much as everything in my life is random, there still needs to be some sense or vision of clarity. The debacle I encounter is that I am pulled in so many directions. I want to do and try almost everything. Skydiving not included. I want to be the best person I can be, and the best person for those I care or give a damn about. Sometimes I wonder if it is even possible. I know it is not possible to please everyone all the time, but there surely has to be a way to do it most of the time. But I guess the only thing I can promise is random... random is the only thing I know. I will try my best to keep it informative/entertaining or in the least, light reading. Here is to the life ahead! Lets keep it positive and try our best in whatever we do!! 頑張りましょう！

I was going to go on about some things I find troubling in my everyday life, but then a little spark in the back of my head told me to think differently about it. Because I know that some of the the things I would be typing about might get back to the people that cause me the reason to type them. Upon reading often how people are losing their jobs for blogs, I figured I would just lay it on the back burner, and see if my feelings are just as strong later. The chances of someone involved reading my blogs are almost impossible, but not improbable so it is best that I just let those thoughts fade into the wind. I guess looking into this blog here it sounds a lot worse then it is, but really it is not so serious. But the outcome of job loss is still a very true reality. So I guess maybe to others who would like to rant about Co-workers and Other people that have a stake into your job, should think twice about posting it into their own blog, and maybe start up a 'fantasy' blog. Just hope that the fantasy blog does not get too popular and you are still revealed!!

So I found another "spam" blog today, from 'somewhere' on the internet, posted as if I were posting it. I am not sure where these dumb things are coming from! I have a feeling somehow a spambot is sending them as email and they go into my blog that way. It has happened twice now, and it is getting irritating! I wonder if this is what Jody Gnant [www.jodygnant.com] was talking about. Saying how her blog was 'hacked'. All this damn phishing anyways! Spam, hate, and phishing are ruining the internet! Lets just hope someday some of the crap will get cleaned up...but I doubt it.

Save some Money!

I have been using the Savings Angel website for a few months time now. And let me tell you, IT IS PAYING OFF!!

As of today I have purchased $1015.20 worth of products. (Food, shampoos, deodorants, house cleaning things, ect) But I have spent only $354.11!!!!

Sure that seems like a fair amount of money for only 23 days into the year, but I purchased some things I will not need to buy for the rest of the year, or even beyond.

I have enough laundry detergent for well over a year. Deodorant I think that will cover almost 2 years time. Popcorn, granola bars, cereal, vegetables, soup, hamburger helper, and boxed potatoes for an entire year, or more. These are just a few things to list, many other items will last a half a year or more.

I also have a queue of 100rolls of toilet paper, and 20 rolls of paper towel. That queue is surely never to fall much lower than that, since deals will pop up and I can restock.

A typical winters night. 2am. Out shoveling the snow. Felt like taking some pictures of the snow on the branches of the trees. I wanted to capture some of this since snow usually doesn't stick to the branches directly. In between shoveling and setting the exposure time, I snapped a few pics I really like. The sky was blood red, but when exposed turned to a yellow fog. The trees bare of their leaves intertwined with the night sky. Poetry Mumbo Jumbo should this Blog never be made of.

So yea. Put my cam on a Tripod and clicked away. Happy with the results!

Today I just found out that this hotel is no more. I did not stay at this hotel, nor did I even get close to it. But it is still a symbol of my trip to Japan. I like many others have this building etched into our memories as a reminder of Tokyo and Ueno Park. Next time (if ever) I return to Tokyo and Ueno park (My Japan) this scene will be gone. Lost for eternity in an ever changing Japan. The next time I visit Shinobazu Pond and would like to snap some pictures of the surrounding buildings Sofitel will be no where to be found. Hotel Kojimu will apparently fill the void that has been left by the demolition of Sofitel Hotel Tokyo. Maybe I will stay in this new hotel next visit, to reclaim some lost memories that I never had....

Well I am doing my normal surfing on the internet, and check my Jaiku to see whats up. I notice from my own blog that there was some posts about some 'unsavory' things. I was a bit confused at first but was not so sure if maybe something had just gone awry on the Jaiku side of the world. Upon going to my blog I noticed that there were indeed some 'unscrupulous' posts that were not done in my name. They did have a header of RE: (insert adult natured things for sale on the internet). A picture of a fair looking maiden with nothing on other than a Santa hat and a string of pearls. Although I really don't have much problem with the photo. The main fact that I did not put it there or the content about adult enlargement was not posted by me. And it had to go. I guess if I were going to sell such items (or services) I would do it the traditional way and spam the crap out of the planet. And not post it on my blog that is 'fairly' family friendly. 13+ would be the rating I think. But alas in the pursuit of money I cannot bring my self to a low as low as that.

The wilds of the internet

This is my first test of my new verizon wireless broadband. I am sitting out in my truck in the driveway, because my home cable connection is crappin' out! POS! I have to be out in my truck because there is too much signal interference inside the house, or at least inside the computer room. I figured I would give it a good chance the first time outside. So far it seems pretty good, I can't wait to get out there and try some of my streaming. But looking at the TOS it appears I can only do things like browse and check email and crap like that and cannot go over a 5gig monthly limit. That seems pretty low but we shall see. Might make it hard to watch some videos on youtube or stream on Ustream.tv. I guess we shall see how it goes, I will try not to be a bandwidth hog, but some how I don't forsee that happening. :) I have always wanted to get a repeter for the signal, because the phones don't get crap in the house either, but from what I have seen those things cost some money! I will continue to look I guess. But for now that is it....live from the drive way!

This next month (September) I decided I am going to do a lifecast. If you do not know what a lifecast is, to put it simply, I will have my webcam on 24 hours a day 7 days a week for the entire month. I don't know why I decided to do this, I just did. I figured why not, all the cool kids are doing it? right? well maybe not. If I go out I might take a cam with me, but a camera will be live 24/7 as long as I have a internet connection somewhere. I think a half of a month is ample time to allow me to clean up my area, and work on the details, positions cameras and what have you. If you have some suggestions for me please do not hesitate to send me some ideas. You can post the comments right here, and I will see what I can do. Thanks and I hope you all check it out. Mookie who is our newest addition to the family, has turned out to be a great cat. Not like it is to be not expected. Animals do great when they are shown attention, and not yelled at, and of course given food all the time. He is the largest cat that has ever been in my family in my lifetime. I think he also might be the only male cat as well. He is quite an armful. I have been in the process of "mauling" him into submission to be able to hold him like a baby. Our other cat has been held like that since forever and does not mind it at all. But he is a little stronger willed. The previous owner did not hold him like that I don't think, just over her shoulder. She also had something like another 3 cats, and a huge old and loud dog. I don't think he cared for that very much. He is now totally at peace, and will lay anywhere stretched out without a care in the world. I have also been "talking" to him a lot, and he has picked up on that as well, and talks back frequently. When I return home from work, or enter a room. It is very funny, he makes a cute noise. But deep down, I think maybe he is just being "nice" so I will keep giving him food, and those feather toys he loves so much.

Man I don't know what the deal is today. I wonder if I have heat exhaustion? I was not outside very much, but I ate a lot of very salty and spicy food, drank a cappuccino and mt.dew all day. It was very hot and I was sweating inside, while playing video games. :) I have not played comp games in a while (not first person shooters) and I know I upset my stomach like that. Pretty much a liken too motion sickness. But when I got home from the lan today, I just had to lay down. Too many factors against me today I think. Sleep dep, Heat, poor food and liquid intake, motion sickness. All I know is that I have not felt like crap like this in a long time. On top of it all heart burn....(of course from the poor food and liquid intake.) Taking the chalky chewables is leaving a terrible taste in my mouth... I think I better just drink a bottle of water and call it a night. Chalk it up to the summer time blues; yet... it is still only spring.

The doorway to summer has opened. When the rhododendron has bloomed, the heat is all too close. Soon it will be too hot for the flower to live, and they will disappear once again. This year seemed to be a very good one for the flowering trees, they were seen everywhere. Unfortunately they don't seem to last very long, a couple 2 weeks at most. They are pleasant to look at the short time they are in full bloom. Subtle pinks and crisp whites were very pronounced this year. Now for the rest of the year until Autumn comes, the regular trees will fill with green leaves. At that point the leaves will change to the fiery reds and yellows and fall to the ground, paving the way into winter. But for now winter is too far off, and not to be thought about...and it will return all too quickly.

Why is it that people think it is OK talk on their mobile phone no matter where they are? In the car, in the line at the grocery store, at break in the lunchroom??! And of course the idiots have to talk loud as hell! Don't they get it? Especially those jackasses with the nextel phones and that annoying walkie talkie noise. They have their sound cranked uo so loud on that thing you think there is a 100 foot grasshopper coming to eat your face off! I used to own one of those stupid things, and to this day I still don't understand a damn word coming out of those things. It sounds like someone just got punched in the face, broke all their teeth and decided they needed to call you right away to say 'sup'. I could go on about this but I would just be repeating things you have all thought before. You are a pain in the ass people. Wise up and shut up; and go the hell outside already. I am trying to eat my PB&J in peace!!!

Found a new site today via mIRC in the #chris channel on WyldRyde server (for his Ustream.tv "show") called www.flickrSLiDR.com it allows you to put in the info you want to embed a Flickr slide show onto your Blog or what not. So I choose my Beautify '07 set. This set is showing the transformation if you will for my home over "X" amount of time. I am not sure on how long the project will go for (probably till fall'ish or whenever I don't care anymore :) ) But the main focus of the project is to do no more then a half hour of work a day, and to spend as little money as possible. Current status of May 20 is 3 (half hour) days, and 0$ dollars.

I have reached 10,000 views on my Flickr. It makes me happy. I seem to have caught my page just in time. I hit it right on the nose!! My own views do not count which is good I think. If not my views would be double what they are now. Hopefully the rest of this year will bring good photo opportunities and I can increase views. I need to do some more networking I think on flickr and it all. Thanks all who have viewed my pics in the past, I hope I have not posted too much garbage. I know I have quite a few duds in there, 2aDay is hard sometimes. After the year is up I will remove the absolute crap and rename the group to "least worst of 2aDay 2007" I think that is a fitting name.

This right here is the main reason I would ever want to go see China, The awesome night views. The city I live in is not large (it is also not small or too hickish). A drive a couple hours will lead me to Detroit or Chicago, but those two places are still nothing in comparison to playes like Shanghai or Tokyo. I don't know if it is the geek in me or what that makes me like the huge cityscapes with the blazing lights at night. I may never know. Hopefully some day I will be able to travel to Shanghai or Hong Kong to see the wondrous night scenery like this one. It might never happen, since the pull to go back to Japan is so high. Japan is a most incredible place. For those who have never world traveled I am telling you to get out there and do it!

Dammit it is spring already! WTF is up with the snow. This Damn State I tell ya. I think I am old enough now to understand why all the old people go where its warm, cuz there is absolutely nothing that is good about snow. To you people have never seen it, stuff it. Gmail Paper

Well, here I was sitting at my computer, like every night. Went to check my Gmail, and noticed there was something going on with the log in page. There was this thing about Gmail Paper. According to Gmail, they would now send you a hard copy of your Gmail thru the "snail mail" if you would like, and they would print picture attachments as well. I thought well this is kinda cool. I got real excited, and was going to try it out see how it worked. I mean hell, all the free photos you could get??!! Thats awesome. Well upon logging into my Gmail I did not see the feature, and just figured that it wasn't fully integrated yet, so I searched around (on Google) too see if there was any buzz about it; there was not. So I just went to sleep hoping that the next day I would be able to send myself a free Photo thanks to Google. Well upon awaking still no 'real' feature to be found. I once again (Googled) about it, and found some websites calling Google on their April Fools Joke. It indeed is true...Goggle got me. I must say this is the best April Fools Joke for me ever; I think it might be the only one I have fallen for. :( Well, its too bad; Gmail Paper would have been great. Hopefully there would be some way they could figure out how to pull it off, because it would be awesome!

Me and the wife head down to the pier to take some snapshots, but when we got there we ran into some boys up to no good. The following is an example of why not to do drugs.

Bear in mind, it is only March, and but a few days into spring, as you can see there is plenty of ice in the water, and we all know how cold it has to get to make water freeze. Especially into "cubes" as big as seen in the video.

Christmas Lights in March

The weather was absoultly excellent today, so I FINALLY got out and took the rest of the Christmas Lights off the house. I had planned to do it back in...January, but it started to snow, and ever since the snow has not stopped or gone away. It has gone now finally (I hope); and yard work begins again :( If you didn't happen to see my lights, I have a short video on YouTube with them.

I am hoping to increase my light show this coming year, and lets hope I can do it!
